How to look after your lash extensions

ree

When should I book in for infills?

You should still have about 50% of the lash extensions from the previous appointment remaining for an infill appointment. When you come for your infills I will remove any really outgrown lash extensions also which will mean even less remaining before beginning!

It can be hard to tell what 50% looks like so here is a rough estimate of timings:

Volume lashes - 1 hour infill every 2 weeks or 1.5 hours every 3 weeks (30-45 min infills are top ups to tide you over until your next infill or a freshen up)

Hybrid lashes - 45 mins/1 hour infill every 2 weeks or 1 hour/1 hour 15 mins every 3 weeks.

Everyone’s lash cycles are different so this is just an estimate and varies on how many natural lashes you have and how full you like your lashes.

(The fuller you like and the more natural lashes you have the longer infill times will be required to keep them looking perfect).

Keeping them clean

Keeping your lashes clean with lash shampoo

It is so important to keep your lash extensions clean to prevent premature lash extension loss and keep you free from blepharitis. The only way to do this is to use lash shampoo - this essential cleansing kit can be purchased at your appointment or on our website for £15 and includes 1 x shampoo, 1 x shampoo brush and 1 x lash wand.

The first 24 hours

I prefer my clients to not get their lashes wet for the first 24 hours after application - the very minimum 4 hours - this also applies to sunbeds, swimming, saunas, sweaty gym sessions and tears!

Pulling, Picking, Rubbing

Never pick, pull or rub your lashes, this can damage your natural lashes!

With love,

LQ x
